Waitlist

If you join the waitlist we store your email address, your optional answer to "What do you write specs for?", the language of the page you signed up from, and the time you signed up. We use them only to email you about Wordspecs: when your access opens, and occasionally a question about what you need. We do not sell or share them.

The data is held in a Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare also hosts this site and so processes technical request data such as IP addresses as part of delivering it; we do not store IP addresses ourselves.

To see or delete what we hold about you, email hello@wordspecs.com.

Page views

We count visits without cookies or identifiers. For each visit we add one to a daily counter keyed by page and referring website (for example "news.ycombinator.com"). We do not record IP addresses, browser details or anything that could single out a visitor, so we cannot tell visits from one person apart.
